About
Lauren Brown is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts, and an avid lover of photography. She currently lives in New York City, where she has essentially lived all of her life. Her career began with De Facto, inc., a photography agency, where she rose through the ranks to eventually serve as photo agent and producer.
She transitioned into publishing in January 2017, as a photo editor with ELLE Magazine, and worked at Hearst for 3 years, also acting as visual editor with Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and Town & Country. In January 2020 she began working with Conde Nast as a Senior Visuals Editor, on Allure and Glamour Magazines. While there her work has won an ASME and SPD awards.
Her love of film led her to the Brooklyn microcinema Spectacle Theater, where she has volunteered her time from 2012-2017.
She currently serving on the SPD Board of Directors.
